In response to requests from many of our customers, we created the Protective Cleaning Wipes to help look after the device that looks after your oral appliance. Using your Dental Pod frequently can often lead to a gradual build up of plaque, bacteria and grime in the tank. To keep your cleaning routine healthy and hygienic, we developed a bespoke cleaning solution to protect your Dental Pod and oral appliance from degrading over time. They're an easy-to-use cleaning solution, made without harsh or harmful chemicals, designed specifically to keep your Zima Dental Pod in its best possible condition.
The Zima Protective Wipes combine antibacterial agents with naturally-derived ingredients and biodegradable materials to provide an effective, yet gentle way to keep your Dental Pod or Dental Pod Pro clean. Free from alcohol and harmful chemicals, the wipes have been specifically created for your Dental Pod's stainless steel tank, the perfect addition to your oral care routine.
The wipes leave a thin layer of Aloe and Oat extract, which have mild anti-microbial and anti-fungal properties. This helps keep your Dental Pod hygienic and safe from airborne bacteria without using harmful chemicals.
We recommend giving your Pod’s tank a thorough wipe every 2-3 cycles. Simply remove your oral appliance and tip out the water left after a cleaning cycle, then use one wipe to remove any debris and buildup from the bottom and sides of the tank. This should only take 10-15 seconds.
After you've wiped your Pod's tank and spread the wipe's protective film across the total surface area, simply leave it to dry. When you next run a cleaning cycle, follow your normal steps of filling the tank with cold water - no need to rinse your tank beforehand.

I'm really delighted with my Zima Dental Pod Pro to keep my night mouth guard (for grinding) hygienic and clean. I initially assumed I would need to use regular sterilising tablets, yet all of these contain a substance to which I'm allergic. Finding the Dental Pod online was a godsend, and it is also easier to use that tablets would have been! The Zima tablets also don't contain any nasty chemicals (including my allergen) which is wonderful. The wipes are a great addition too, and I am using one once/twice weekly to give the Pod a reassuring & thorough clean.
Cleans my aligners well
Love my Zima Dental for my night guard. Bought the zima go plus tablets and wipes. I enjoy the convenience of using the zima Dental to clean and sanitise my night guard. I feel the clean is more effective than using soap and a toothbrush. I've yet to use the intense clean option however plan to do so shortly to see whether the results are improved. I'm yet to use the Zima Go however travelling soon so looking forward to trying the Zima Go to hopefully keep my night guard clean and sanitised. The guard feels much cleaner when using it at night compared to when previously using only a toothbrush and soap to clean the guard. I also like the how I can keep the main unit in the cupboard and remove the cleaning cylinder to fill and empty without the need to unplug. The tablets leave a pleasant fragrance while the wipes leave the cleaning cylinder clean and residue free. Overall I'm very pleased with my purchase and looking forward to many years of convenient and effective cleaning of my guard.
The pods work well to clean retainers.
I’m very pleased that I found a better way to clean my night guard then by brushing it with a toothbrush and Dawn. Since I started using the dental pod, some of the nasty discoloration has gone away, but I was hoping (from pictures on your website) that it would almost look brand new. I’m cleaning it twice a day hoping it will get better little by little. Don’t misunderstand me. I’m not completely disappointed because it is definitely better than it was. I was just hoping for a little more.
My nasty night guard is now clean and doesn't smell like feet. I feel good about putting my night guard in my mouth and don't worry about all the bacteria I was previously putting in my mouth. This is a good investment.

This dental pod pro is an easy way to keep my nightguard clean. I have an older appliance so I dont expect it to sparkle but it comes out clean every time.
When you take out the aligners (from the Zima ultrasonic cleaner), you can see the residue left from that cleaning! It’s pretty gross! So, when you empty the water out it’s nice to have these wipes that not only clean the bowl but also are nonabrasive!

My husband and I wear Invisalign every night for a year now. When I start to clean them using the Zima Dental Pod I noticed they are very clean and clear as new compare to my husband's who still using brush to clean his. I am very happy with product.
Ordered the pod and the travel case for my husband's partial and he loves it. The travel case is so easy to use and the sanitizing feature is amazing. Kills bateria and germs. Love the tablets. The wipes are great for cleaning up the pod after use and the case between uses. I thought I was going a good job keeping my night guard clean until using the pod, in 5 minutes it looked new again.

I bought the go pod and recently ordered cleaning tablets and wipes. My plug in pod was another brand from Amazon. I’ve used the go pod on several trips and find it great for travel. The wipes are used on both appliances. The cleaning tablets are very good for the plug in unit.
It has helped with some gum issues because it cleans thoroughly. Brushing does not get everything.

I have never been able to get my lower partial denture truly clean even with a brand new denture cleaning brush. My son bought me a dental pod for Christmas and I have never looked at a "dirty denture" again. Amazing results. Super clean, even the metal brackets.
