Always use cold tap or filtered water in your Dental Pod. This, along with the your Pod's thermoregulation technology, helps ensure that the water doesn't heat up above the recommended safe level for oral appliances.
Yes, we recommend daily cleaning to make sure that your oral appliance stays as hygienic as possible. If you wear your appliance at night, a morning cleaning cycle works well, but if you wear your appliance throughout the day, you may choose to use your Pod more frequently.
Yes, you can run up to two consecutive cycles. When doing this, please make sure that you refresh with cold water and wait at least 5 minutes between cycles to support the longevity of your appliance.
Yes you can share your Dental Pod with others, though we advise changing the water between separate cycles and using a Zima tablet each time, all to reduce the risk of spreading infection.
Our Ultrasonic Boosting Tablets have been formulated to work alongside the Dental Pod's ultrasonics, with natural surfactants helping to boost the cavitational cleaning effect. We recommend using a tablet every time you wear your appliance for more than 6 hours, as studies have shown that harmful bacterial biofilms start to develop over this period of time.
The device’s dual cleaning system means that you can choose from standard ultrasonic cleaning or the more powerful and intense Max Clean mode. Max Clean mode runs for 15 minutes, oscillating between high pressure, intense ultrasonic bursts, and consistent ultrasonic cleaning waves. I would be making a trip soon and I saw that there was a new travel product as in the DentalPod Go that was very compact and ran on battery once charged for 2 weeks which was the extent of my trip. Large build up of tartar on my retainer for several years. Dental Pod Pro on the high setting using ultrasonic boosting tablets for 5 days was able to remove all of it. The results were better than I had anticipated!
It’s seamless and works great. It’s so much better than using a toothbrush and cleaners that are probably not very good for my retainer.
I only have the after pictures, sadly. However , my retainers are 27 months old and were only Dentist cleaned once in all that time. So they both had lots of yellow stains and scale on them. But I followed the instructions in the Zima owners manual and soaked them 10 minutes in the Zima tablets per day followed by 2 back to back cleaning cycles for two weeks and you can see the results. The upper retainer is like brand new-no scale or yellowing.The lower retainer is free of scale and about 98% free of yellowing. I am thrilled and astonished!
I was using a toothbrush to clean my mouth guard and it started yellowing. I had a friend who recommended the Zima Dental Pod and thought, why not give it a go. After a few uses the yellowing started to fade and is now nearly gone! It works REALLY well and after seeing how clean my mouth guard was my parents each got one too, lol. Highly recommend! You may not see results immediately (because advertisements exaggerate) but you will see them!

Prior to buying the dental pod pro I wasn’t as confident in how clean my night guard was as I was using only a dab of toothpaste and brushing it. Now I use it every day!! And I’m confident that it will be clean! And if I want to be extra sure I’ll run the pod 15min in the morning and run it 5min at night, plus I also have the UV protection case that I can put it in for 1mn before using it for the night. It works! I had stopped using my night guard because of the white stains and stinky smell. This pushed me to look for a solution and came across Zima dental. In the first try I already notice the white stains became much clear and the smell was gone! Now I also use it to clean my Invisalign.

I wear a bottom gum guard nightly to help with wear and tear from my incessant teeth grinding! After much use, my guard was looking tired and yellow even though I’d brush it with toothpaste and toothbrush after every wear. I also struggled to put it somewhere during the day and my husband was sick of finding it left loose in the bathroom 🤣. I purchased the Zima dental pod and after a week of intense sonic cleaning my guard is looking like new again. I keep it next to my bed so that I can give it a sonic cleaning prior going to sleep. It’s the best thing I’ve bought this year! The tablets also leaver a lovely fresh minty taste on my guard.

My bite guard is 8 years old and was badly stained and very encrusted. After only 11 days of using my new Zima Pod and tablets my bite guard looks and feels like new. It fits better and looks and feels better too. Rarely does a product live up to its claims but the Zima Pod did and surpassed them. I love my Zima Pod.

Super easy to use. I have multiple sclerosis and the medication I take lowers my immune system. So infection risk is always a concern. Having a teeth grinding guard and the worry of infections this device helps keep the infection risk low and puts my mind at ease.

I’m so glad I found Zina Dental on Instagram. I had been using a mouth guard as recommended by my dentist for a while now, but noticed stains I couldn’t get rid of. After a few cycles of using the Dental Pod Pro with the Ultrasonic Boosting Tablets, I’ve seen a major difference in the look, smell, taste of my mouthguard.
I currently use it for my aligners. On no 19 of 20 so will be using it for my retainer when the time comes. I had to go and take a photo of an old set of aligners as my current ones are so clean!! This is a picture of an old set of aligners that had already been cleaned with a tablet before I put them away - so I popped them in the pod and you can see the difference !
